Atom and Uran visit the small inn owned by Higeoyaji's old colleague. There is a rock called Stone Face in the mountain near the inn, and people believe the old legend that the village at the foot of the mountain will be annihilated when Stone Face now facing east turns to west. In the inn, a man called Dr. Acchi has stayed for a long time. While Atom and Higeoyaji are relaxing in the bath, a fireball crosses in front of them. That is Robot Fireball that Uran met while she was taking a walk. At midnight, an earthquake hit the area. When Higeoyaji peeps into Dr. Acchi's room, there is no one there. Actually, Dr. Acchi has found out the treasure hidden under Stone Face while researching Viking, and is excavating it with Robot Fireball at midnight. At the moment they find out the treasure, Stone face on the mountain starts rolling down. Atom stops and banks up the stone, but he cannot hold it due to energy shortage. Then, Stone face falls into the dam and the dam breaks. The water floods out and the villages around the dam sink under the water. Stone face was set there as a guardian angel of the treasure. Robot Fireball who resents the fact that he was used and deceived by Dr. Acchi does not try to save Dr. Acchi almost drowing in the water. Then Atom comes to rescue Dr. Acchi despite his energy shortage. Seeing Atom's behavior, Robot Fireball changes his mind and rescues Atom and Dr. Acchi.
