Advocate Sonali Shelar tells Kammal that she needs to produce a proof of her and Manav's marriage in the court if she wants to give her child all the rights. Sonali asks Kammal to get a marriage certificate which has the date of marriage prior to Manav's marriage with Anita on it. Kammal then approaches Manav and tells him that she wants to get married to him again but only on paper. Manav agrees to do as Kammal says but the entire Jajoo family condemns his decision. Manav tells his family that he still can't hear a word against Kammal. Yash has fallen in love with Nisha but she does not reciprocate. Sonali gets disturbed by Kammal's case and talks about her distress with Kammal's boss and her friend Raina (Neena Kulkarni). Sonali tells Raina that Kammal's case has reminded her of the past.
